Don't watch this movie till...
Am Ah
This is no ordinary movie to watch.
You need a certain kind of heart to watch it.
A heart that can and cannot bear pain.
Watch it when you are ready to expand the definition of entertainment and the purpose of cinema.
Watch it only when you are sick and finally tired of the formulaic, insipid, uninspiring and stupid, big budget latka jhatka movies that come out from most of the film industries that make us dumb and dumber.
What a movie!!!
Finally I could weep tears of joy after quite some time.
Thank you so much to the writer, director and Gopi Sundar who put together the background music.
And thank you so much Dileesh Pothan for whatever would have prompted/ inspired you to act in this movie.
While you will not agree to my request but it’s good to see you more in roles like these than the mix of villainous roles you keep playing.
And what a scene it was between you and Jaffer Iduki - that scene outside the police station just as he says good bye to you.
Hats off to the simple story telling and the visuals in the screenplay at a time when AI is being used and abused to create complicated visuals in the name of creativity, time saving and cost effectiveness.
There’s one character about whom I am deliberately not writing here. That character reveal is only for those who are willing to watch the film.
What an amazing performance by that person!!
It’s a “boring”, slow-burner that then completely grips you in its intrigue once the intent of the plot begins unveiling and then in the end all the pieces of the puzzle come together in one single day.
It’s so heart touching and inspiring what the power of love can do and how an entire story can be built on that premise.
Not a single mis-cast. Each actor has done a great job.
Available on Amazon Prime to watch; only when your tired and deflated soul is ready to weep away the pain of disillusionment and is ready to be inspired again.

I was beginning to wonder about the meaning of the title and what a beautiful way to reveal it as the movie concludes!!
Even as I am an agnostic atheist, I would like to conclude with the line by the Nobel laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore - “Every child comes into this world with the message that god has still not given up on mankind.”
This movie is for all the mothers in the world who have given everything in nurturing us so well.
Thank you my own Amma.
