Evolution of language and an interesting Hindi remake

My first sight of migrant workers from north India was on 6th January 2001 on a train that was going from Trivandrum to Korba while I got off at Ernakulam to attend a junior’s wedding. And since then Hindi language has had an interesting mixing with Malayalam and vice versa leading to some funny exchanges with words from both the languages in the same message. Recently I came across 2 interesting videos within a day’s gap from each other. The IG video you see is the Hindi-Malayalam mix dubsmash of the cult classic comedy scene from the 2016 Mohanlal film Oppam (Together). In a crime thriller, this is the only comedy scene but the situational comedy is crazy. And for Malayalis who know Hindi very well, this dubsmash is even more funny. Now to the connecti...
